    Did You Know? In 2010, over 3,000 ha (7,500 ac.) of potatoes were planted, producing almost 82,500 tonnes. Programs and Services Water Pumping Equipment Rental ProgramThe Ministry of Agriculture is now administering the Government of Saskatchewan's Water Pumping Equipment Rental Program. This program is designed to help Saskatchewan farmers and ranchers during dry seasons with the provision of pipes and pumps to transfer water from one location to another. Equipment is available at six regional locations: Outlook, Weyburn, Swift Current, Yorkton, Tisdale and North Battleford. The Pumping Co-ordinator, situated with the Irrigation Branch in Outlook, will accept applications and payment, ensure that the client receives equipment on time and see that any maintenance and repairs are dealt with in a timely fashion.
